- I figured it out. The problem seems to be electrical interference. When I plug my laptop in to recharge the battery, that's when the touchpad starts acting weird. Unplugging reverts to normal behavior. I guess it wasn't moisture after all.

- I thought you sent an updated version to foobar in Minnesota. Can't you go to your sent-mail folder, save the attachment, and work on that? Make sure you save it in somewhere other than tmp -- saving it in your Documents folder would probably be best.
