Letter from our friends @ TransFORM in Oakland says it all. -eugene ========== LETTER ========== Thank you so much for emailing your Congress members about the federal transportation bill. We need her to stay strong over these next months as the debate gets ugly over what will be in the new, longer-term bill. Cutting bike/ped and transit funding is NOT an option! These emails actually make a big difference in getting legislators to pay attention to the issues we care the most about. Stuart Cohen, our executive director, heard firsthand from Senator Boxer's staff how inundated she has been with support for bike/ped and transit funding, and it's showed in what she's been pushing for.
