What do you mean by play DVDs? You mean, play movies? Or, just read data
on a DVD?

If you want to be able to play movies, I have used VLC in the past.
Download it at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html .

If you have problems reading data on DVDs, then you may have to call the
Nerds.
