Physically, my girlfriend and I are in New Hampshire. Mentally, I'm still in
Berkeley... :-(

OK. My girlfriend finally found a job in Boston. So, I'm in a mad rush to
look for a job and an apartment for us.

Certainly did.

It's really great, actually. I sorta regret resigning; but, I think I was
getting bored and felt like I had hit my wall. I highly recommend it,
especially if you can work with Peter Hand and/or Andrew Choi, both of
whom I highly respect as programmers.
Are you applying for a specific job? That financial software company is
kinda strange because roles are relatively strict -- there's a divide
between management roles and technical roles. At least, when I was
working, that's the way it seemed; but, with the new building structure,
this may be better, I don't know.

Good. I hope your dad got a renter for his apartment; I'm sure he did. (Rent
prices around Boston are about the same as Berkeley. Ugh.)
