Well, the car kept having probs (electrical).  But, after many garages, we

Hmmm, well, did you try kermit (via that mirror progrem)?  That's all I can
suggest.  It seems that the floppies would be faster, I don't know.

Slackware is really lame in that it does not have kermit included.  You might
try seyon.  I'm not sure if that requires X-Windows or not (would be a
Catch-22 if so).

Windows emulation?  I doubt that that would work.  You only have DOS available
