Actually, when I was driving in CT on the highway, I was really amazed how courteous the drivers were -- I felt like I was in Washington state for a while there! :-) Maybe it's all the cops? There was one about every 30 miles or so. (And I think this is a good thing. Since Noelle and I moved here at the beginning of the year, I've only seen 1 traffic cop car in Boston. If I were mayor (!), the first thing I would do is triple the number of traffic cops.) > Renee > > P.S. In all my time in NYC (33 years) I never heard a bus driver make fun > of a passenger. Nevertheless, I stand by my statement that in my 14 years on the west coast, none of those [negative] things ever happened to me, not even in San Francisco or San Jose.
