I didn't know that Maher was anti-NPR as well.
Not sure how you could call NPR "left".  It's nothing like Democracy Now,
which is definitely "left" (but not "crazy left").
In fact, I cannot, off the top of my head, think of any "crazy left"
outlet or source.  Maybe MSNBC is "crazy liberal", but that's the only
thing I can think of.  The problem with the decline of the Soviet Union is
that it makes it hard to imagine anyone who is "crazy left" -- those who
advocate violence for the purpose of an ideological agenda.
