I'm not sure what this means. You mean, 6 inches of water would be more
worrisome?
I'd be surprised if there's anything electrical even 1 foot above the
floor since the water heater is gas-based.
In any case, we should definitely invest in a sump pump. I just wish I
had made it a higher priority item earlier.
