temporary credit cards

Because I have an MBNA (now Bank of America) account, I can use
https://www.mbnanetaccess.com/NASApp/NetAccess/ShopSafeRequestHandler
where I can have temporary credit cards.  There are two advantages to
this:

1) If the temporary credit card number is stolen from the vendor's
   database, I'll be OK.
2) If my physical card is stolen, I'll still be OK.

Just a thought.
