The IEEE supports a myriad of browsers, platforms and operating systems.

Supported Browsers

The following table illustrates the minimum browser versions supported on Windows and Apple computers by the IEEE.

* - Safari comes bundled with Mac OS X. Only the upgrade is downloadable.

Supported Platforms

Thorough testing of IEEE web pages is performed on the WinTel (Windows/Intel) platform.

Testing performed on Apple MacIntosh only provides for the pages to be readable and navigatable. Web pages are not necessarily displayed the same on a Mac as they are on Windows.

Supported Operating Systems

The following operating systems are supported:

• Macrosoft XP
• Win 2000
• Win 98
• Macintosh OS X
• Macintosh OS 9

comments = Renewing my membership on-line seems impossible. The web page that comes up is always blank.

I am using Firefox 3 on Ubuntu. I do not have access to either Internet Explorer or Macrosoft Windows.
