Wendy recommends medical leave. -----Original Message----- From: Robbins, Wendla [http://www.PARTNERS.ORG/~WROBBINS] Sent: Thursday, March 20, 2008 3:17 PM To: Noelle Subject: RE: I'm back at work Wow....interesting!! I'm more like your dad, I'm crazy about Ken but definitely need my own time and space. You and Robert are lucky you both seem to thrive on "togetherness" -- you are just two peas in a pod. I loved India! I guess she's just into more upscale accommodations ;) I loved the food and the filthy Ganges....with cows and dead babies floating in it, -- it was just such an exciting stimulating different world. What about that Family Medical Leave Program or whatever it's called -- When I had that excruciating lateral epicondylitis, I cut back my hours and used my extended leave bank. Wouldn't that be better than Workmans Comp? Lots of forms to fill out but got my full pay. Cindy on vacation and I am sposed to be covering for her 20 hours!! Going crazy. Keep me posted on family situation and your health Bye for now ________________________________ From: Noelle [http://dummy.us.eu.org/Noelleg] Sent: Thu 3/20/2008 5:21 PM To: Robbins, Wendla Subject: RE: I'm back at work My dad said maybe I need to consider worker's comp. He thinks I may have to take time off from work since this job is not making this problem better. Also, I got an e-mail from his wife complaining about how bad their trip to India was. My dad admitted they are having issues. She wrote you and Robert would like the spicy food and dirtiness in India! What the hell is she implying there? I told my dad this and he was angry how she has been writing mean things in e-mails lately. He said he ignores her when she goes off like that, and I should too. At least he is on my side on this. I don't understand how can think this is OK to do to me. Ever since she lost her job she's been getting on dad's nerves, he likes doing his own activities and she wants to do more with him, but he needs his space! Stay tuned for the drama! PS I told my mom-in-law and she is supportive -----Original Message----- From: Robbins, Wendla [http://www.PARTNERS.ORG/~WROBBINS] Sent: Monday, March 10, 2008 11:29 AM To: Noelle Subject: RE: I'm back at work Hope u got to go home! Glad you're doing okay, I assume u still have neck brace on. I have a keyboard tray and I had a roller mouse but it got ruined in the BIG FLOOD last fall....it was for my lateral epicondylitis and it helped so much! I miss it. Did you get the PT order? Can you get PT at your hospital? Well, feel better and keep me posted - -----Original Message----- From: Noelle [http://dummy.us.eu.org/Noelleg] Sent: Monday, March 10, 2008 1:49 PM To: Robbins, Wendla Subject: I'm back at work I'm here, but the boss said I need a note from my MD saying I can work again, or else I have to go home. ;) And then I'm trying to get an order for PT. The PMD said have the neurosurgeon write the order. I called them and she left a note for him to call. He's the one who said have surgery. He better write that PT order. Now I have the keyboard tray and my chair is really low. SO far not bad
