Thing is, I'm just so tied down up here I can hardly spare the one day I 
do take to go to town on the weekends and try to have a social life. The 
woes of a business owner and parent, I suppose.

If only I were happy out here in the middle of nowhere. Now I am a 
single guy, and it's bleak. Hardly anyone like me at all up here in the 
mountains. Suppose I should join a church and vote Republican. Someone 
is giving me a pick-up truck for $100 in book credit, so at least I'll 
fit in on that count.

I think I'll be going to SB for Thanksgiving. Will you be down there? 
I'll have my kid, Denali, with me, most likely. That puts severe limits 
on my travel times. Also, I'd be going down I-5, out of your way.

Do you get to SB much anymore?
