I went to the where I live Farmers Market a couple of weeks ago and was trying
various chutneys this woman was selling.  She was trying to get a sale
with someone and I interrupted and asked how much the chutney I just tried
was.  She glanced at me and said "That's $4.99, man".  The "man" part was
the funny part -- she said it like she was frustrated and I wasn't
expecting it and did a double-take.  It was funny; I laughed and she said
"sorry about that".

Your "Yo Bub" reminded me of that.
