Let me know what you think. > So how was your trip? Were you there for fun or > business? Fun. Noelle found a deal in the newspaper for cheap airline tickets to London. She figured that we should seize the opportunity before the deals went away. We guessed that the U.S. economy will be going downhill from here on and therefore that the dollar will fall against the pound in the future. Anyway, it was interesting. Londoners can be grumpy, much like Bostonians. In fact, they drive in a very similar way with the main exception that they actually follow the traffic laws -- they drive quite fast and pull out in front of you when you're walking. It was the first time that I'd ever left the continent of North America. Also, while walking down the street, I felt generally safer. We've been getting tons of snow here lately. At my parents house in New Hampshire, the snow piled up higher than my father's head! But, at least I get to get lots of exercise (shoveling). Yesterday, I finally got to ride my bike in the snow. It wasn't too bad. It was snowing and I was the only person to show up at the clinic defense. Anything exciting happening in Berkeley these days? Seen Will around? Since I've come back, I may actually take the last Friday of every month as a vacation day so I can participate in Boston's critical mass. Did I tell you that I'll be flying out to Seattle at the end of April? Along with my parents, I'll be visiting my sister at Fort Lewis. I'm hoping to visit some friends out there as well as Evergreen in Olympia. > Well I know this is short but my brain is still not up > to full functioning yet. I'll be in touch again soon. > love--kathryn
