Well, according to what I was reading on the web, it seems that I need version 5 of LapLink to be able to connect to LapLink Remote. I think that the version you sent (2.98) won't cut it. I'm pretty sure the pins should be correct. I plugged the DE9 connector into the mouse port (COM1) and the doc says that the connector is made for connecting to PCs. I can get a new DOS version (5.0) for $67.50 at Egghead. That may be my best bet.
