hall is just one floor above SD, and also open
from 12:00pm - 7:30pm on Tuesday, November 19 and

Registration Policies To pre-register and have
your badge mailed to you, we must receive your registration
form and payment by Friday, October 25, 2002. Payments by
check should be made payable to "Software Development
Conference" and mailed to the address listed above. The
taxpayer identification number for this event is 11-2240940.
Please fax your W-9 requests to (415) 947-6020 and allow up to
5 days for processing.
Advance Badge Mailing In
late October, badges will be mailed to all conference
registrants who pre-registered by October 25, 2002. Expo Only
badges will only be mailed to registrants from the following
states: MA, CT, NH, RI and VT, provided the registration is
received on or prior to 10/25/2002. Badges for those who
pre-register after 10/25/2002, whether conference or expo
passes or whose state is not listed above, must collect their
badges on-site.
Age Limit Due to safety
concerns, no one under the age of 18, (including infants in
strollers,) will be permitted on the expo floor at any time
during the SD Conference & Expo.
Tutorial Notes
& Conference Proceedings: All conference registrants
will receive proceedings on-site, in a CD-ROM format as well
as access to the SD Online Library in advance of the event.

Cancellations, Downgrades
& Substitutions: If you need to cancel, you may do so
for a full refund until Friday October 25, 2002. Attendees who
register but do not cancel in writing by the deadline date are
liable and will be charged for the full registration fee.
Sorry, no refunds or letters of credit are available after

Written requests for
a downgraded pass must be received no later than October 25,
2002 for a full refund on the difference of registration fees
between the value of the original and downgraded pass.
Requests received after 10/25/2002 will receive a letter of
credit for a future Software Development Conference for the
value of the pass downgraded from. Upgrade pass requests must
be submitted in writing and faxed to (415) 947-6020 along with
payment information for the difference in value. Upgraded
passes will be charged the difference in registration fees at
the time that the request is submitted, no retroactive reduced
registration fee is permitted.

2002 registration also entitles you to attend the Embedded
Systems Conference Boston's exhibit floor which is running
concurrently to SD East at the Hynes Convention Center. The
