Wow, this sounds totally like me.  At least, when I _was_ drumming regularly
in a band.

Interestingly, my bandmate, Sue, is going to University of Hawaii for graduate
school in music.  You can e-mail her if you wish: http://www.hawaii.edu/~ssjlee.  She
was the guitarist, but she plays a number of stringed instruments.
