Hello. I have one of your problem modems. I checked on the Practical
MT336 Problem Page (http://www.practinet.com/support/mt336/) and checked
my serial number and it says that indeed my modem is one of the problems.
In its current state, this modem is completely useless.
I called your 1-800-500-2742 number but they said that since I do not have
the original packaging for this modem, I have to call technical support (a
long distance call with an average waiting time of 15 minutes).
My modem's serial number is P12759133407.
Here are my questions:
1) Can I avoid having to call long distance?
2) If I do have to call long distance, can I get a refund for the cost of the
   call?
3) Is it possible to not call anyone at all and just send in my modem?
Thanks.
