I believe that the instructions on http://www.isip.msstate.edu/projects/speech/software/html/cvs_instructions.html are incorrect. In particular, I think this line: cvs -d :pserver:http://www.ftp.isip.msstate.edu/~cvs:/isip/tools/cvsroot export -r isip_r00_n06 was the cause of my problems. When I changed "isip_r00_n06" to "isip_r00_n09", it works a lot better. >From http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert Mon Dec 16 12:07:32 1996 From: http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert (robert) Date: Mon, 16 Dec 1996 12:07:16 -0800 In-Reply-To: <http://www./~v03007800aed4b7db8a33[204.188.37.128]> References: <http://www./~v03007800aed4b7db8a33[204.188.37.128]> X-from: http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert (Robert) Encrypt: on X-Mailer: Mail User's Shell (7.2.6 alpha(3) 7/19/95) To: "Les U. It's an overpopulation thing (as George B. would say) and that's what turned my mind. It was more out of "thought experiments" that I came to the conclusion that the world is (and was, at the time) overpopulated -- that it's an issue of resources per person. Since that time, I have read more about this stuff (through These Exit Times, "The Population Explosion", etc.) and have realized that humans are managing to destroy the planet not just for ourselves, but all the otherwise innocent creatures that inhabit it. So, as with my vegan diet where I'm boycotting meat, dairy, etc., so with my reproductive beliefs I'm boycotting conception. >> Tony Blair for president! << >> Those who seek easy answers get final solutions. <<
