anti-capitalism, communism, socialism, and the total mess

Unfortunately, what ends up happening most of the time is ... nothing.  I
was listening to a story,

and basically both the far-right and the far-left end up being utterly
corrupt, and, the same system, in different forms, end up in the same
mess.

I always think that "democracy everywhere" is the answer to corruption,
but I fear that that's even more scary to the power elite than even the
most ardent anti-capitalist.
