Just to summarize what I found yesterday: your Chromium is really slow
because of all the tabs. It seems like, when you open a new window in
Chromium, that window is much faster.
I recommend closing as many tabs as you can, and opening a new window when
you want to do something temporary, such as watching a video or buying
something.
