It's a fight against the greedy corporate entities wanting to keep housing prices going up and, at this point, they are winning. (Certainly, people not voting and, in particular, not voting for rent control, does not help matters. Unfortunately, we'll never get a state-wide referendum for that again.) The article is good on all fronts.
