Looks like Duo Security is a proprietary system, and is incompatible with
any other authenticator systems. Unfortunately.
The best you'll be able to do is to use a phone number to enroll, in order
to avoid installing any proprietary apps onto your phone.
You can also use a bypass code. This way, even if you don't have access
to your phone, or it gets lost or stolen, you'll still be able to log on.
I recommend just waiting until you are prompted to enroll in 2FA. It's
possible that your alum account is old enough that it's not subject to the
2FA requirement.
