I guess if you define "progressive worldview" as "not having all white
men", then, yeah, NPR is guilty as accused. But, if "progressive
worldview" includes covering something as tepid as income inequality, or
even the Israeli destruction of the Palestinian people, they are quite far
away.
Frankly, I think that white people at NPR feel theatened by the many
latinos and other people of color joining the NPR staff. "Progressive
worldview" has nothing to do with it.
