We also need to verify that the phone is currently unlocked.
Please use the directions in
https://www.wikihow.com/Check-if-a-Phone-Is-Unlocked-Without-a-Sim-Card#Using-the-Settings-Menu-on-Android
to find out from your phone. Otherwise, you may be able to find out the
info by calling the carrier that Best Buy assigned to you (either Verizon
or AT&T, most likely).
We'll need this info regardless of whether my sister wants the phone or
whether we need to sell it on eBay.
