I called Sonic.NET tech support @ 855-394-0100. They said for me to make
the call and then call back after one hour. For the test, I just made the
call to 650-242-4929 and entered a random 10-digit number followed by #
(number sign), and, predictably, it dropped most of the keypad touchtone
digits. (This is eminently reproducible.)
My guess is that this is a software bug in the modem since it only fails
after calling the same number twice (650-242-4929, in this case).
