It's inexcusable that there aren't protected bike lanes on every single
road in where-I-live.  Without this, there are always going to be "bicyclist
jerks".  In any case, in general, I've never really a problem with this in
where-I-live on the weekends; during the weekdays and work days, the cars are,
by far, much more dangerous entities.
