I think one needs to understand Zizek's sarcasm.  But, beyond that, I
think one must pick and choose what we should agree or disagree with him
about.

(In general, I think Ted Rall is closest to my own politics, with Jello
Biafra coming close behind.  The rest, even Chris Hedges, I pick and
choose what I agree and disagree with.)
