Hmmm.  I'm not sure that's capitalism per se that's the problem, but
hierarchical systems in general.  I think this is briefly touched upon in
the section about bosses.

Hierarchical systems are incredibly compelling, especially when our monkey
mind concept of the "alpha male" exerts such a stranglehold over our
imagination.
