"you can't expand exponentially the number of people working on contact
tracing".  With millions unemployed, why not?
What this really shows is that there is a surplus human population which
is not needed.  Which is really weird because capitalism requires constant
growth.  Maybe there will be a reckoning in the form of a market
correction.  I guess it depends upon how much productivity is ultimately
lost after all is said and done.
