Brian - partly, I don't know the entire process. Is David's brew crew and
coming up with a recipe the first step? If so, it may make sense to coordinate
the meetup with a day when David et al. try out recipes.
>From there, we could all go to the Hermitage where the final recipes are
brewed. I'm not sure what sort of visibility there will be to the entire
brewing process. If there is none, then just going to the building and doing
some hand waving may be enough.
I don't know what the next step after this is. Is bottling done at a separate
facility? And, if so, how much visibility is there into that process?
I assume that labeling comes next? Is that done when the bottling is done?
There may be the same visibility limitations. Or not? I guess the result
could also go into kegs and other vessels. Not sure where or how that happens,
either.
Then, I imagine that the resulting cases and kegs are refrigerated? We could
see the fridge, I suppose. Not terribly exciting, but something to do.
Finally, we could see where the bottles, kegs, and other vessels are delivered
to; I guess just arbitrarily choosing a single location where we could all
settle down would be good, such as Tony and Alba's.
Thoughts? Refinements? Objections?
