It looks like the way to do it is to request access, and then CC yourself
on that request; from there, you can forward the CC'd message to David.
(If he's savvy enough, he'll be able to figure out the request and give
you access himself; but, it's possible that Google will trash the message
because it's coming from a gtempaccount account.)
