wonder if this is a common phenomenon?

I suspect that BART will end up being as equally unlucky.
"[Urban leaders] "seem hopelessly invested in importing a race of supermen
for the supercity."" Well, at least they don't go the extra step of
calling it "augmentation" like Peter Thiel and Ray Kurzweil.
