Yes, we are not as anonymous as we think we are. I sometimes think about how 
that data can be used by not only businesses and other organizations, but 
governments. I'm thinking about the 2020 census and the new question that is 
being added.

It's funny to think that, years ago, I voluntarily participated in monthly 
consumer surveys that I received in the mail.  There's little doubt that most 
of that data was shared with various government agencies and other businesses.  
It's quite possible that they know everything about me already.
