I recommend a direct flight to where-I-live if possible, as long as you arrive
at a reasonable time (>= 8am && <= 10pm). If you fly in during the
weekend of May 21, a direct flight to San Francisco arriving at a
reasonable time would work since we could pick you up (it's only about 1
hour drive).
In general, the particular days do not matter that much. You can always
crash at our place for a few days.

I recommend a direct flight from where-I-live departing at a reasonable time.
And, again, the same applies as above: flights from S.F. at reasonable
times on the weekend of Aug 14 work fine; weekdays, not so much.
And, again, you can always crash at our place for a few days if necessary.
Of course, it's possible that you could take a shuttle; in which case,
there are no time nor location constraints tied to our schedules.
