I assume that includes the CMOS battery.

that you have to wait for 25 minutes after removing all power sources.

Are you sure that it's a BIOS problem specifically?  Are you sure that the
laptop isn't infected?  http://www.pwcrack.com/bios.shtml says that the
hard drive can be password protected, too.

has a way to use the "system disabled" code to find the original BIOS
password.

hardware techniques to try to fix it.

http://www.lostpassword.com/support/kb-bios.htm indicates that many
laptops are immune from the power deprivation thing.  It says that the
only way to fix it is to order a replacement security chip.

http://www.rmprepusb.com/tutorials/pccmoscleaner describes how to use
software to clear it, but it only really works for legacy computers which
use CMOS-backed BIOS chips, not EEPROM static-based ones.

If you can boot into Windows on the laptop, you can use the software

It actually "cracks" the password.
