We'll work on purchasing a plane ticket.

Would arriving and departing mid-week be acceptable?  Are there any
preferred flying dates?  Locations?

I'll also have to buy you a Caltrain and light rail pass.  I'm warning you
that the commute will be hell.  Luckily, it will only be for ~3 months.
