Hello Nearby Neighbors,
Passing this along to all of yall!
You can make edits to your posts or comments within 15 minutes of posting.
To edit a post on a web browser:
Locate the post that you would like to edit in the newsfeed.
Click the down arrow below your post.
Select Edit.
To edit a comment (reply post) on a web browser:
Locate the comment that you would like to edit in the newsfeed.
Click Edit directly below the comment.
Messages can only be edited by the member who posted the message. If a message
has been edited, there will be note at the bottom of the message indicating
that the message has been edited and when (although it is not possible to see
the previous version of the message).
The ability to edit a message is not yet available on Nextdoor for iPhone or
Nextdoor for Android.
Editing a message does not resend an email. However, if you miss the 15 minute
editing window, you can delete your message and then re-post it with the edits
you wanted to make. Keep in mind, however, that email notifications for
messages are sent out immediately, so your neighbors may receive both the
original message as well as the edited message, depending on their individual
email settings.
