As you will see on http://www.google.fr/search?q=ride+alcatraz , you'll
need to allocate about 3 hours for a trip to Alcatraz, including finding
parking. You'll probably want to book the tour a couple of weeks in
advance. If you do book a tour, please tell us so that we can go, too.
Also, usually there's a 20 minute wait to get onto a cable car, and the
ride lasts about 20-30 minutes, I think. So, allocate about 1 hour for
that.
Walking across the Golden Gate bridge is about a minute walk each way,
plus 15 minutes to find parking. So, that's about 1 1/2 hours.
Golden Gate Park is huge and it's probably impossible to walk the whole
thing, but we can spend as little or as much time there as you wish.
