Detailed Directions
The Adventure Cat departs from Pier 39, just off The Embarcadero, across near the intersection of Beach Street, Grant Avenue, & The Embarcadero. For your GPS or online maps, the closest street address is 2 Beach Street, San Francisco, CA 94133.

When you get to Pier 39, stand on the sidewalk & look towards the water, do NOT go down the center where the shops are, but take the left OUTSIDE walkway. Go towards the sea lions & look for a gate with the letter J on it. That's our dock. Check in with a crew member at the gate 15 min prior to departure. Lost? Call us at 800-498-4228

From the South (where-I-live):

  • Merge onto US-101 N via EXIT 9B on the LEFT toward SAN FRANCISCO
  • Merge onto I-280 N toward PORT OF SF
  • Take the exit on the LEFT
  • Merge onto KING ST
  • KING ST becomes THE EMBARCADERO
  • Travel about 2.5 miles down THE EMBARCADERO until you see Pier 39 on your LEFT
From the West (Sacramento):
  • Take the I-80 W toward SAN FRANCISCO
  • Take the FREMONT ST exit
  • Turn LEFT onto FREMONT ST
  • Turn RIGHT onto HOWARD ST
  • Turn LEFT onto THE EMBARCADERO / HERB CAEN WAY
  • Continue to follow THE EMBARCADERO for about 1.4 miles until you see Pier 39 on your LEFT
From the North (Santa Rosa):
  • Merge onto US-101 S toward SAN FRANCISCO
  • Turn LEFT onto VAN NESS AVE
  • Turn RIGHT onto NORTH POINT ST
  • Turn LEFT onto GRANT AVE
  • Turn LEFT onto THE EMBARCADERO
  • You'll see Pier 39 almost immediately on your LEFT
Parking: Pier 39 Parking Garage is located right across the street from where the Adventure Cat departs. You can park there for $7 per hour, with a $35 maximum.
