Keratoconus is a progressive bulging of the cornea that leads to refractive
problems- frequent changes of the needed glasses or contact lenses according
to the Merck Manual.

I don't know what that is all about. Corneas have no cell nuclei so I
don't
think it can be a cancer. Maybe it means the cornea has an abnormal shape
and needs to have to be reshaped by laser. Keep me informed.

He went to the ophthalmologist again, who said he had an unusual cornea
and he
refered him to another ophthalmologist to rule out anything bad.
He had the Humphrey Visual Field Analyser test and they gave him a cool
computer
print out of his corneas to give to the other ophthalmologist.
