It turns out that right after I sent my message to you, I realized that
I compiled a completely different version of mush! I compiled and am
running mush 7.2.6, not 7.2.5. I believe that it's 7.2.5 plus the
patches up to beta-5 (as per http://www.well.com/user/barts/mush.html).
I just now noticed that the Debian patches are also available on the web
site, but my copy does not include them.
I guess I should really download the latest version and try to compile
that, try it out, and then, if it works, send the diffs.
