That's strange. I just looked on my laptop (where I have Ubuntu Lucid
Lynx installed) and don't see flash_player_10_linux.deb installed at all.
I'm wondering if that's an Adobe-specific .deb file? I think I always had
flashplug-installer installed so it pulled the .so file from Adobe
directly.
If you do have an Adobe-specific .deb file, then the only minor downside
is that you won't get any updates, if there are any. But, that's probably
a minor issue since you've been using hulu under Karmic without
problems...
