I'm realizing that:
1) You shouldn't need to add an account for me, and
2) the above command isn't what you'd want in that case.
Instead, you should just try
$ ssh -l kat -R:5900:127.0.0.1:5900 robert.homelinux.com
We may need to do what I originally suggested:

to get things going. At that point, I may be able to see and possibly
control your screen.
