Dear Robert:
In partnership with Postini, ACM offers you the latest tools to prevent
dangerous viruses, and unwanted junk email, from reaching your computer.
This service requires no additional software, and is included, at no charge,
with your ACM Membership.
No further action is required on your part. Email addressed to your
http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert forwarding is protected according to the
ACM default filtering scheme:
* Virus Filter: Set to "On" [Off]
Email sent to http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert is screened for viruses and
prevented from reaching your mailbox.
* Junk Mail Filter: Set to "On" [Off]
Service: Set to "Tag and Forward" [Quarantine]
The filter scans messages addressed to http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert
and intelligently recognizes characteristics that are typical
of junk email.
The filter tags and forwards email: it places information
in email headers that may be useful for determining email
disposition; and then forwards email to your mailbox.
For information on how to read header information, please see:
https://www.postini.com/support/header_analyzer.php
For an overview of the email forwarding protection service,
please see:
http://spam.acm.org/public/filters/documentation/mc_qs_ee_en.pdf
Each default setting may be changed to its optional value, so that,
for example, you may opt to: set your Junk Mail filter to "Off";
switch from the "Tag and Forward" service to "Quarantine"; or turn
virus filtering to "Off".
To customize these, and other available options, for your filters,
or to turn all filtering off, please log in at: https://spam.acm.org/login/
You may also log in at myACM.org, to manage your forwarding, and access your
filters.
To Prevent Spam: Participate in keeping the filters accurate by sending
your unfiltered spam messages AS ATTACHMENTS in email to http://www.postini.com/~spam.
This does not guarantee that these messages will be filtered in the future,
but will make it more likely.
Sincerely,
Nanette Hernandez
