I'm not hysterical BUT I still think that  felines are a wee bit more
manageable and clever than canines. 

At least Dolly might not feel slighted since you do not dine lavishly on
fresh meat ---so she perhaps doesn't feel resentful. 
I say nay, nay to dismay.
