FWIW, I sent an email to Marion about a library room, and sent an email to Raines re: getting high-level access control to Meetup.COM .  Neither has replied yet.  I hope to get a reply by mid-Jan otherwise I'll be using the Yahoo group and we'll be meeting at Mission City Coffee next month :-(.
