Meetup Description

Hi everyone,
Let's spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon at the theater. The play is called "Splitting Infinity", and it's an intelligent blend of science and faith. Should make for an interesting discussion afterwards! See below for a synopsis of the play.

We can meet for drinks afterwards at a nearby restaurant.

Tickets:
Individual tickets range from $53-$66. I'm looking at seats for the "Parterre" area, which is in-between the Orchestra and the Balcony areas. The price for this is $53. There's a discount of $11 for groups of 10 or more. So if we have 10 people, the price per person will come to $42.

Please play this amount by PayPal to this email id: http://profiles.yahoo.com/priyaph. (Please only RSVP "yes" after you have done this).
Please RSVP by September 20, so that we are assured of the seats.
If you prefer to purchase your own tickets, you are free to do so. However, you may not be able to get a seat with the rest of the group.

Synopsis of Splitting Infinity
by Jamie Pachino
directed by Kirsten Brandt

In this smart and witty exploration of faith, science, love, and ambition, Leigh Sangold, a Nobel prize-winning astrophysicist, takes on the definitive scientific challenge: to use physics to prove whether God exists. Leigh?s quest for a renewed sense of self in her life threatens her closest relationships with Saul Lieberman, a tenderhearted Rabbi who?s been in love with her since childhood, and her lover, a competitive post-doctoral student who is the son of a Christian Scientist. Splitting Infinity tests the boundaries of relationships and zealous ambition. It seeks to answer the questions we have about ourselves, each other, and the universe through the scientific and religious equation.
