In Bhutan the trip was somewhat difficult because our 2 checked suitcases got lost somewhere after LAX, and we never received them until we arrived in Delhi a week later. Also I got sick the last few days while there with a high fever, chills, and gastrointestinal problems aggravated by high altitude. Don has also been suffering from a cold, but we are surviving. You two would like Bhutan and India as most of the food is vegetarian, but sometimes it's not so great for us. Otherwise the trip has been very interesting and educational with good guides and nice fellow travellers. The mountain scenery in Bhutan was spectacular with lots of forts/temples and an interesting walk through a rural village to see how the people lived. Delhi was also interesting in a very different way such as taking a rickshaw ride through very narrow streets. Today we had lunch inside a fancy palace and stopped to see life in a snake charmers' camp. By the way, Morey mentioned physical therapy and mild traction as something to do. You didn't really consider chiropractors, did you? I would be happy to meet Marcia. Love, Gail and Dad
