The reason I wanted to contact you was to congratulate you, but it seems the congratulations are very different now! > I've been loose since then, but about to start a job in SF, it > seems. That's good. Where're you ending up? > Funny enough, but I feel like I should get a job before I move to > Marin You'll be commuting to S.F. from Marin. Ugh. > and get married. So, they gave us lots of incentive to stay there for at least 2 years. Not much has changed so far, other than really annoying security measures. I still very much enjoy working with speech recognition stuff. For a while, I was falling into a pattern (working on grammar compilers written in Perl), but I'll be working on a very different project now (massive C++ program). So, that keeps life interesting. Life in where-I-live is pretty mellow, especially in the summer.
